**The Opportunity**

The Treasury Reconciliations Officer is responsible for performing bank reconciliations and banking related transactions. You will also be responsible for providing operational support to the Treasury Controller and the Receivable Analyst as well as being a contributor to the global finance team, and helping to improve these functions to support the international growth of KING.

Your role will be responsible for contributing to the integrity of the treasury information through verifying, reconciling and coordinating transactions. You will assist in delivering timely and accurate reporting on account balances, globally across all jurisdictions, in conjunction with and under the guidance of the Treasury Controller and the Receivable Analyst.

**The Role**
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconcile payments received against outstanding balances and investigate any discrepancies or issues
- Reconcile and maintain electronic clearing accounts in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain Treasury Inbox
- Follow up on overdue payments and work with store staff to resolve outstanding balances
- Complete the investigation and management of exception transactions within agreed clearing times
- Ensure compliance with KING procedures and maintain a high standard of control at all times, this may include identifying and escalating areas of risk or problems.
- Support the Treasury Controller and the Receivable Analyst

**About You**
- Three years Accounting experience with at least one year experience in a similar role
- Accounting qualifications preferred (TAFE Diploma or higher)
- Ambitious and eager to grow in a high performing team
- Solid understanding of general ledger, banking, Treasury and month end processes with an eagerness to contribute to the process of continuous improvement
- Expert knowledge of internal control mechanisms and processes, with a strong technical ability to navigate banking/merchant platforms
- Experienced with large ERP systems, preferably SAP B1, with an interest in working with large amounts of data.
- Intermediate Excel skills as well as a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Naturally curious with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
