**Company Overview**
In 2008, Adelaide teenager Sam Davis fell victim to a violent and unprovoked one-punch assault that cost him his life. Sam’s death inspired the creation of the Sammy D Foundation to end violence by connecting and empowering young people, so that they can live their best life free from violence. Through education and awareness programs on bullying prevention, violence prevention and alcohol and other drug education and mentoring young people at risk, the Sammy D Foundation offers advice and support to people of all ages, and it has equipped more than 200,000 young people across South Australia throughout schools and sporting clubs with the knowledge needed to keep themselves and their mates safe.

**Role Overview**
Reporting to the Fundraising & Marketing Manager, the Community & School Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for identifying potential community and school fundraising opportunities and maximising revenue generation activities. This role will develop, implement and drive a new Community Fundraising Strategy including the development of a regular giving program and a school based community fundraising program. Primarily based at the Sammy D Foundation office in Edwardstown, the Fundraising Coordinator will travel to various metropolitan locations to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders such as community partners, donors and schools while representing the Foundation and supporting larger fundraising events. This role will be offered as a 2-year contract on a part time 0.6 basis initially with the possibility of extension.
