In the sophisticated, rapidly changing, people-centric environment that is today’s tertiary education business, everything centres around positive relationships, communications skills and warm, enduring stakeholder engagement.

So, this is a role for a talented people-centric analyst with a proven flair for managing a relational database system within an advancement environment. We want to know you understand fundraising/philanthropy - what it is and how it works - from start to successful finish. And we’re hoping you can offer a thorough knowledge of donor stewardship strategies and how to frame the best policies and procedures to support them.

Tried-and-tested management skills will enable you to plan, schedule, report, analyse, prospect, test and refine data as you develop and manage the CRM of this expanding unit to add a signature edge to all its fundraising activities.

All of your technical and business expertise is crucial. But over and above that, we’re looking for a CRM analyst who is also an amiable, articulate, enthusiastic, can-do team player and natural communicator.

You need to be that original someone who loves hi-tech screens with their intriguing numbers, statistical stories and puzzles but also gains great satisfaction from working face-to-face with diverse teams to influence, inform, lead and build.

For example, you’re probably the style of pivotal leader/manager who - having unlocked some special perceptions via database analysis - will genuinely enjoy sharing that knowledge with fundraisers - in nice plain everyday language. And you’ll take great delight in celebrating with them as they succeed in translating ‘your’ techno
- information into measurable income.

So, while tertiary qualifications and a significant NFP fundraising/philanthropy background are important, so too are your special entrepreneurial instincts and intuition. If it’s this combination of attributes that often leads you to capture ‘hidden’ detail and insights in data that other people overlook, then we’re very keen to talk.
