We’ve been around for a long time - 139 years in fact. Over that time, we’ve seen and learnt a lot. That makes us the most experienced and knowledgeable provider of vision services in South Australia. But our range of services is also what makes us stand apart. We’re the largest provider in South Australia, offering people who are blind or have low vision support that ranges from assistance dogs to assistive technologies.

**The opportunity**

See Differently is looking for a Fundraising Team Leader to join our Marketing and Fundraising Team. You’ll be an experienced fundraiser who is looking for a varied role. You’ll need great ideas and strategic thinking, but equally in a small team you’ll need to be someone who gets involved and gets things done too.

Our current fundraising program includes bequests, appeals, corporate, individual and regular giving and events. We’re not scared of change or challenge and want someone who can work with our team, executive and donors to take our work to the next level.

In the past year we’ve launched a new brand, we’re investing in our technology and systems over the coming 12 months, and we are truly exited about growing our fundraising and philanthropy to be able to do more for our community.

**Your skills and expertise**

We’re looking for someone with the right skills and expertise to join the team. You’ll have:

- A proven history of developing and executing fundraising plans. Including a broad knowledge of different fundraising activities and openness to new ideas.
- Fantastic communication skills - verbal and written - to promote our programs and encourage participation.
- Well-developed customer service skills and a commitment to providing a brilliant donor experience.
- Experience in managing people, setting SMART objectives and leading a team to make the most of collective and individual strengths. This also includes managing consulting and agency teams.
- The ability to set budgets, fundraising targets and then use KPI’s and data to track success and adjust approach accordingly.
- Relevant degree qualification.
- Demonstrated people skills, including communication and conflict resolution required to deliver and foster relationships within a team.
- Knowledge of relevant fundraising legislation and interest in disability services.
- Good organisational, planning, and prioritising skills, including the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
