This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
As a Junior Copywriter in the Leafio Marketing Department, you'll be at the heart of crafting content that connects with our customers. Working closely with our Brand and Design teams, you'll create engaging written content for Montu’s B2B pharmacy audience, bringing bold ideas to life across digital platforms.
In this role, you’ll use words to deliver captivating campaigns, social media posts, website content, and print and digital ads. You'll team up with our brand manager, art director, designers, and CRM specialists to develop and write compelling content that gets results.
In our fast-paced and growing marketing team, your work will span everything from eDMs, social media posts, blogs to editorial pieces, app microcopy, and beyond. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key, as you craft copy that reflects our brand voice and resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
**Concept Development**
- Generate creative content ideas for campaigns and digital and print content that align with brand strategy, drive engagement, and deliver impact.
- Create consistent narratives that effectively communicate our brand’s voice and resonate with target audiences.
- Work closely with art directors, designers, and other team members to develop and refine creative concepts that meet campaign objectives.
**Copywriting and Messaging**
- Write and edit clear, concise and persuasive copy for web pages, eDMs, mobile apps and other digital interfaces ensuring consistency with brand voice and guidelines.
- Deliver messaging strategies and supporting comms across a range of marketing campaigns.
- Craft engaging and concise marketing eDMs, blogs, website content & app microcopy that resonate with the target audience.
- Review and update support articles and UX copy to provide accurate and user-friendly information.
- Ensure best practice standards are met and adhered to across all communications and channels.
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns to increase brand awareness and reach a broader audience.
- Maintain and evolve the brand’s voice across digital platforms, ensuring consistency in style and tone.
- Research the industry to keep up with trends, rules, and what customers want.
- Analyse what competitors are doing on their platforms and communication channels.
- Turn your research into useful ideas to guide marketing plans and content.
**Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:
- Deliver on individual and set departmental OKR and KPI’s as determined from time to time.
**Continuous Improvement, Safety and Compliance**:
- Continuously learn from successes and failures to refine and enhance improvement strategies.
- Actively participate in training (including mandatory training) and professional development sessions to enhance skill set.
- Observe, understand and comply with all Occupational Health and Safety Legislation, Regulations, Codes of Practice, Policies, Procedures and directives.
- Be proactive and responsible for own actions, and adhere to compliance requirements relevant to your position (eg. legislation, policy and guidelines).

**In addition to these foundations, you will have**:
- A bachelor's degree in art, marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role, ideally working within a healthcare advertising agency and/or start up/scale up in MedTech.
- Strong portfolio showcasing writing and content strategy skills.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimisation techniques.
- Creativity and storytelling prowess, adaptable to different tones and styles.
- Basic understanding of analytics and data-driven decision-making
