**The Opportunity**

**The Sanctuary Retirement Living** is a warm and inviting community, set on beautifully landscaped gardens and offers a relaxing environment for our residents to enjoy a perfect, low-maintenance retirement. As our newest **Maintenance Officer**, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, upkeep and light repair tasks around our village. Working closely with the Community Manager and residents, you will ensure the buildings, common area and fixtures are well maintained, safe and presentable for all to enjoy. You will enjoy connecting with residents, working autonomously and will have general domestic maintenance or 'handyperson' experience. Located in Caboolture South, you will be working in a tight-knit community where you will thrive in making our community a better place for residents

This new opportunity is a permanent f**ull-time position working Monday-Friday 7am-3pm.**

**You will**
- You will attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others
- Liaise with residents and staff to ensure projects undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a high standard
- Oversee maintenance work undertaken by contractors within the community
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
- Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team
- Please note - this is not a gardening role, we have most of the gardening covered

**What you will bring**
- Experience in General Maintenance and 'Handyperson' roles (highly desired)
- A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
- Valid driver's licence (required)
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not have one, we can complete for you)
- Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
