**The Role & Project**

MACA Infrastructure are seeking a
**Pre-Contracts Manager** to join our team based in Dandenong South. The position will be responsible for leading the pre-contracts team tasked with bidding and securing projects that ensure the revenue outcomes desired. This role will be accountable for providing commercial and contractual expertise during the pre-contract and early project delivery stages.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Oversee weekly tender meetings and participate in discussion on shortlisting of opportunities that align with our Growth Strategy and are suitable with respect to existing capability, resource availability and risk profile.
- Ensure focus on competitive pricing of all aspects of every tender including supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Ensure that subcontractor and supplier RFQ’s are sent out early with tender specific contractual and scope requirements.
- Coordination of commercial reviews and completion of commercial / contractual qualification schedules.
- Providing guidance on Risks and Opportunities (R&O), ensuring that a balanced view is taken to quantification of Nett R&O value and appropriate allowance made in tender estimate.
- Provide guidance and coordination of the negotiation and finalisation of post-tender Contract terms and conditions.

**We are looking for**:

- Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering.
- Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge and theory across small and large civil and maintenance projects.
- Previous experience in participating in multi-stage reviews or similar.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Solid risk management experience with the ability to assist in evaluating identified risks/opportunities and development of agreed strategies and management plans to mitigate risk.
- Strong background in contractual management.
