This role is located within the Critical Services team, this team will manage the delivery of critical services contracts, such as lifts, security and CCTV and fire alarm monitoring. Key activities include Security Report monitoring, managing technical aspects of Lift Maintenance Services, Lift Registration, analysis and actions of monthly reports, off charging from Report information and analysis.
The purpose of this role is to lead a team providing program management services across a large-scale program or a range of smaller programs which directly contribute to better outcomes for service delivery, business processes and information services. This role may require statewide travel including overnight stay where necessary, for the purposes of onsite audits.
**What you’ll do**
As the Program Manager for Critical Services Contracts, you will lead a team tasked with managing Critical Services Contract performance which includes Lift maintenance, Security & CCTV monitoring, Fire alarm monitoring. The role will be responsible managing all maintenance programs of critical services, operational matters including quality of work delivery and technical trouble shooting. The role will also focus on forward planning based on annual condition reports and designing, developing, managing, and reporting on strategic programs, ensuring consistent high-quality outcomes through the implementation of project management methodologies.
Your responsibilities include overseeing the contracting and tendering processes of programs, including budget estimation and performance reporting, while engaging stakeholders to identify emerging issues and develop programs aligned with service delivery needs.
Utilising your expert understanding of internal policies and regulations, you'll ensure compliance, good practice, and fairness in contracting and service procurement. Additionally, you'll manage performance and reporting activities to monitor program deliverables and provide proactive, evidence-based advice and reports to senior management.
Cultivating key internal and external stakeholder relationships, you'll facilitate effective communication and interface between program development, service design, and implementation.
Furthermore, you'll lead and drive team management, work planning, coaching, and professional development initiatives to align resources and deliver priorities effectively.
**What we’re looking for**
- Experience in managing staff, together with compliance experience or measurement of performance against standards.
- Demonstrated planning skills together with timetabling experience to meet performance targets.
- Project and resource management experience.
- Tertiary or Diploma level qualification with relevant experience in either of the following discipline **or** other relevant equivalent qualification with demonstrated experience:
- Building/Maintenance Services Engineering,
- Mechatronics,
- Electrical/Electornics
- Mechanical
- Current Driver’s License
