The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) plays a crucial role in shaping the Australian economy through its pursuit of national economic policy objectives. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Physical Security Manager to join our Workplace Department.

As the Project Lead, you work collaboratively across the organisation to lead, plan and deliver change created by projects that impact process, people and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination - Assist the Project Team in managing, planning, and directing all aspects of the project to ensure the delivery of outcomes as agreed upon by the project sponsor.- Support Role - Provide comprehensive support to the Project Team in delivering a major capital works project.- Reporting and Documentation - Oversee the creation and management of project reports, including presentation packs, program schedules, finance forecast sheets, meeting minutes, risk register updates, stakeholder registers, and business requirements documents.- Working Group Management - Chair project working group meetings, develop agendas, manage meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.- Procurement Management - Collaborate with the Project Team to plan, manage, and execute project procurements.-
- Risk and Issue Management - Identify and manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and implement them in a timely manner while measuring their effectiveness.- Progress Monitoring - Monitor project plans, identify variances early, and take corrective actions to minimise impact.- Task Organisation - Organise project tasks, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.- Change Management - Assist the Change Manager in managing change throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring informed decision-making and the realisation of benefits.- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement - Develop and implement communication plans to deliver timely and relevant information, ensuring clear messaging. Identify stakeholders, create engagement plans, and maintain necessary levels of engagement throughout the project.- Project Delivery - Ensure the project is completed within the agreed schedule, budget, resources, scope, quality, and benefits. Identify and resolve obstacles to project success.- Leadership and Expertise - Provide leadership in project management, promoting good practices and enhancing the organisation's project and program management maturity.

Technical Capabilities- Prior project coordination experience in a projects environment.- Experience in developing business requirements and tracking their inclusion in the design and delivery stages.- Experience in procurement practices/processes and ability to contribute to the development of tender documents, evaluation of tender responses.- Ability to develop funding requests (Business Cases, Seed Funding/Feasibility Studies) that clearly articulate the outcomes and benefits desired by the Project Sponsor and other key stakeholders.- Proven track record of taking ownership of, accountability for, and commitment to the project.- Co-ordinate identification of costing alternatives, trade-offs and any resulting risks.- Extensive experience building trust and confidence by engaging stakeholders at all levels proactively.- Demonstrated and proven capability in observing and reporting on discrepancies, trends and interrelationships in project data.- Strong understanding of corporate and industry standards, project management tools and techniques.- Ability to evaluate performance according to contract and Statement of Work or Service Level Agreement.

Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience.- Desirable PRINCE2 Practitioner preferred, PRINCE2 Foundation acceptable.- Desirable Professional certification of a widely used Project Management discipline.
