**About the role**

Mamamia is currently looking for a Podcast Producer to join our award winning podcast team. The Podcast Producer is responsible for the production of daily, weekly or seasonal shows. This includes recording, editing, and distribution of the episodes. You will write scripts, conduct guest research and monitor the performance of your show while working closely with the hosts to deliver an exceptional product.

Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:

- Produce, edit and distribute a minimum of two to three shows each week depending on episodic frequency (daily, weekly or seasonal) with support from a Managing Producer / Head Of Podcasts
- Pitch story ideas for segments and episodes based on research and knowledge of what resonates with our audience
- Source and book guests who have relevant expertise in the episode topic area
- Build and foster a relationship with the host/s of your suite of shows
- Script content for show and sponsorship / RON advertisements, show notes, and episode descriptions
- Liaise with relevant commercial teams to ensure client campaign objectives are delivered to deadline
- Work with the audience development team to remain across audience insights and show performance
- Distribute shows across relevant platforms and moderate social groups, interact with the audience to source ideas, and promote shows.
- Provide all hosts and external hosts with assets to assist in the wider promotion
- Assist wider team in research, guest booking, monitoring of the pod phone, and sound checking for remote guests as required

**About you**
- Minimum two years experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong audio editing skills (Adobe Audition preferred)
- Experience booking a diverse range of guests for a variety of topics
- Ability to give and receive effective feedback with curiosity and respect
- Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt a measured approach in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Ability to research, find and book guests for both short and long-term projects
- A strong commitment to continuous process improvement, initiatives, and ability to solve problems creatively
- Possess a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) and wow your clients and co-workers every day
