**Your new role**:
This is a key role within our Maritime Sustainment program, supporting the Royal Australian Navy's ANZAC Class frigates in ongoing upgrades and achieving outstanding results in the delivery of materially seaworthy warships and support systems.

You will be responsible for the strategic activities and work performed by the Alliance to maintain and optimise the ANZAC Class and its support system. A great opportunity for an experienced Manager to use their expertise to make a meaningful contribution at BAE Systems Australia.

Reporting to the Program Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:

- Collate, manage and analyse asset data to drive improvement strategies to optimise the class and drive efficiencies, whilst developing and maintaining decision support tools to assist in managing and analysing asset data.
- Develop and implement strategies, policies, plans and procedures to:

- Drive best practise Asset Management strategies
- Optimise ‘managing the assets' & ‘managing the business'
- Understand the ‘health' of the assets & drive the right change at the right time.
- Assess the need for change in a balanced framework - Risk, Cost & Performance
- Collaborate with Defence directorates to drive & develop decision support capabilities.
- Promote and act as a role model for a performance driven and cohesive Alliance culture delivering value for money outcomes for Navy.

About you

**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- Demonstrated understanding of integrated logistic support and systems engineering.
- Tertiary qualification in either engineering, manufacturing, technology, business or project management.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.

Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
