**About the role**:
We are seeking Support Workers to join our aged and disability services for an immediate start. The position is offered initially on a casual basis with the view towards progression to a permanent appointment.

The role of Support Worker is to provide in home services to our Home Care / NDIS clients located in Inner West, Parramatta, Cumberland and Canterbury-Bankstown Areas.

Key responsibilities:

- Assistance with community access and recreational activities
- Transportation and supporting social engagement and shopping assistance
- Personal care (showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance)
- Domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
- Maintenance of appropriate documentation as required

**Essential criteria**:

- All languages are welcome (Turkish and Mandarin/Cantonese Speaking are high desirable)
- Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Disability Support or Aged Care
- Understand the needs of older people or people with disability from diverse backgrounds
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and caring manner
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Driver’s license and a reliable registered and fully insured vehicle to transport clients
- Access and ability to use Smart Phone and Internet
- Willing to obtain and maintain clearances of certain checks
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
- COVID 19 Vaccination & Booster certificate
- Current Influenza vaccination, or willingness to obtain

**Employment with ADSI requires clearance such as National Police Check, NDIS Worker Check, Working with Children Check depends on the type of services.**

**Salary**: $28.96 - $36.07 per hour
