**About the opportunity**:
Our Western Sydney team is looking for a permanent part-time support worker. This opportunity suits individuals who want to impact our customers' lives by offering personalised support within a group home setting. The rate is $33.42/hr + superannuation + salary packaging.

**Role Requirements**:

- Manual Handling - customers require assistance due to mobility.
- Challenging behaviour Experience - includes complex health and behavioural concerns.
- Personal care includes bowel care, various equipment and aids, and other health and hygiene needs such as medication, dressing, toileting, and showering.

**Typical duties might include**:

- Ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their care plans, including goals.
- Various household tasks include mealtime management, cleaning, shopping and other community access activities.
- Empower to establish effective communication with customers using an individualised approach, using whatever means of communication is appropriate for each individual.
- Implementing and reviewing Individual Program Plans.
- Record the progress of each customer in line with relevant documentation.
- Devise and facilitate program activities and workshops with customers and other support staff.
- Support and actively encourage customer participation in decision-making about their program and service.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**:

- Valid working rights.
- A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
- NSW Working with Children Check NSW.
- NDIS Worker Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Health Assessment
