**Your role**

Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager and working closely with the Site Manager, this role is an integral part of the Yates Supply Chain team at our production facility in Mt Druitt.

In this role you will develop and execute the materials purchasing plan to support operational activity for production in the short, medium term and understanding vendor supply constraints in order to ensure efficiency, supply levels and to minimise stock holding risks.

Leveraging your purchasing and planning expertise, you will make a strong contribution to a high performing Supply Chain team and culture within Yates. You'll also be surrounded by an experienced team and leader who will support you to succeed in your role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Purchase materials to support the daily production plan and ensure continuous supply of raw materials and packaging for all products manufactured
- Perform regular packaging and raw materials availability analysis and review incoming material deliveries
- Manage and maintain MRP master data and parameters in SAP and identify potential short-term risks with a focus on process improvement and risk mitigation
- Maintain inventory accuracy through planned regular cycle counts by continuously tracking stock to ensure efficient material handling, storage and flow on site
- Meet customer service targets for categories and provide weekly communications on supply issues and impacts

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience as Purchasing Planner, Supply & Material Planner / Supply Chain Planning Analyst within FMCG / pharma or similar industry
- Experience in demand forecasting and inventory management skills
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret MRP data and intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to work under the pressure with multiple conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- SAP (R/3 or ECC 6.0) Supply / Purchasing / Production Planning experience, is desirable
