Join a global manufacturing business as their Supply Chain Planning Manager, leading their team in South West Sydney in a key leadership role.

**Your new role**

In your new role, you’ll lead the end-to-end supply chain planning process across materials planning, production scheduling and inventory management. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

- Management of all inventory nationally, with a focus on minimising obsolescence and implementing materials forecasting processes to ensure production plans can be met.
- Ownership and development of the overall S&OP process, holding monthly meetings with cross-functional business units, and optimising production scheduling and capacity planning.
- Leadership of the teams across supply chain and production, developing team members, mentoring staff, and creating a culture of high-performance.
- Ongoing pursuit of continuous improvement across all functions, identifying and implementing policies within the materials planning, purchasing, forecasting and inventory functions.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a management role within supply chain, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge across demand & supply planning, MRP, inventory management, purchasing, S&OP, and production scheduling.
- A track-record of strong people leadership, with a history of training and mentoring staff to build high-performing teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, engineering, business, or other relevant discipline.
