Join an Australian FMCG business in their operations team as a Supply Chain Planner, gaining a permanent role in the team in Western Sydney with opportunity for an immediate start.
**Your new role**
In your new role as Supply Chain Planner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Full inventory management responsibility to ensure adequate stock of raw materials to meet production requirements, finished goods planning, and minimisation of out of stocks/obsolescence.
- End-to-end supply chain planning, across supply and production to ensure manufacturing output meets sales forecasts, while working to improve processes and avoid potential bottlenecks.
- Communication across all functional departments including logistics, operations, procurement, and sales to ensure transparency of production schedules and communicate potential delays/issues.
- Assistance with logistics operations, liaising with third-party transport providers, making sure delivery schedules are met both to customer DCs and in-house storage centres.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrated understanding of supply chain planning, production, inventory control and logistics.
- Exposure to a fast-paced environment such as FMCG or manufacturing will be highly regarded, as well as any relevant qualifications.
- Strong systems skills, with competency in MS Excel and ERP systems experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical ability, a continuous improvement mindset, and demonstrated capacity to work well in a team.
