**The Client and Role**:
Our client for this position is a major Australian financial services organisation, they're currently looking for a senior-level SharePoint Administrator to join the organisation on a fast-paced 3-month contract. You will provide third level technical support to the organisations user community, helping to resolve or escalate technology Incidents and requests while adhering to their quality and service level guidelines, as well as deliver high-quality collaboration solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert technical advice & support where required.
- Complete project activities as required.
- Contribute to technical documentation as required.
- Complete and maintain knowledge articles to drive continual improvement in service delivery and upskill the first and second level support teams to improve incident & request resolution times.
- Effectively manage escalations as required.
- Perform Level 3 ticket resolution in line with SLAs.
- Respond immediately & proactively to service interruptions.
- Have an appreciation for cost drivers and alert manager to cost opportunities or risks.
- Monitor performance using management information systems, business and vendor engagement and observations. Act to address performance gaps.
- Stay abreast of global trends and best practice as well as make recommendations for service improvement.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry technology standards and practices, upskill and share knowledge with peers.
- Build effective working relationships with the business and various cross functional teams to manage the platform effectively and better enable end users.
- Collaborate with various cross functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues with other services which impact the user experience / performance of our services.

**Required Skills & Specialisms**:

- SharePoint server administration & infrastructure support for the following SharePoint versions
- SharePoint 2010
- SharePoint 2013
- SharePoint 2016
- SharePoint Online (O365)
- Administration and Management of a Hybrid SharePoint On Prem / Online environment
- Forms and Workflow management tools like Nintex, Microsoft Forms:

- PowerShell & MS Graph API for automating management of Office 365
- Networking, including firewalls, proxies, security zones and encryption and how they relate to the above list of services
- Excellent documentation skills for technical documentation, knowledge articles and user training
- Experience in writing policy and procedure documentation
- Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and complete them with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to competently respond to critical system failures
- Deep experience in Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management (ITIL) processes
- Proven experience in delivering to SLAs
- Ability to appreciate the business value of assigned tasks and to independently steer a course, adjusting the tasks if necessary to achieve the outcome
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
