This position is perfect for a person looking to start a career in administration.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Assisting in scheduling appointments and meetings.
- Maintaining and organising office files, records, and documents.
- Performing data entry and updating databases accurately.
- Purchasing as directed by the National Director or Executive Assistant.
- Greeting and assisting visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming office environment.
- Other day-to-day administrative support as and when required by the National Director or their Executive Assistant.
**Skills & experience**:
- As this is an entry level position, experience in an administration role is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt to a diverse range of people and situations.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, etc) is desirable.
- Aptitude for continuous learning and desire to grow in experience.
- Ability to show initiative, collaborate with a team and work autonomously.
This position actively supports the mission and vision of BCA.
