The Position:
Arch Underwriting at Lloyd's (Australia) currently has an open vacancy for an Assistant Administrator to join our Operations team in Sydney. You will work closely with Senior Administrator and underwriting team to provide administrative support and improve efficiency of business operations. It’s a great opportunity for someone with administrative experience, or strong attention to detail and data entry experience, who wants to continue their career in the insurance industry. This is a full-time permanent position, reporting to Operations Manager based in Sydney.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assisting underwriting team with maintenance and input of data as well as with underwriting processes.
- Ensuring documentation is filed adequately, within appropriate timeframe and regulatory requirements are met.
- Assisting Senior Administrator with review documents for accuracy, updating policies and accounts and creating Terms of Business Agreements.
- Escalating identified discrepancies.
- Supporting system improvement through process awareness.
- Managing troubleshooting of underwriting system.
- Working closely with global support team based oversees.

Required Skills/Experience:

- Good working understanding of relevant regulatory compliance
- preferable.
- Experience in identifying and analysing problems and evaluating options/
- Demonstrated experience in data entry and review.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation skills, time management and ability to prioritise.
- Customer service skills, ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
- Flexibility, ability to multitask and delivery of initiatives in short timeframes.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude.

Desired Skills/Experience:

- Experience in similar/ administrative role
- minimum 2 years.
- Diploma/ degree in administration
- preferable.
- Experience in a financial services industry
- preferable.
