State government organisation is seeking a Program support Officer for an ASAP start.

**Your new company**
Your new company is a state government organisation seeking a Program Support Officer to oversee a range of project research, analysis, organisation charting, reporting, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of ICT projects, in line with established project plans and objectives.

**Your new role**
You will provide program support, including monitoring and reporting on project and program plans, program board reports, milestones, and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are aligned. You will process procurements (purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices) and monitor cost centres and account codes.

You will maintain program budget, forecasts, and actuals and update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues and practices to ensure the delivery of ICT projects and program stakeholders comply with PMO methodologies. You will undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning.

You will communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding program /project status and implementation issues. You will provide a range of administrative services, including coordinating program and project meetings and preparing papers, to support program and project management delivery.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you will have:

- The ability to maintain team and stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met.
- Experience with Oracle: raising and managing purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices (must have)
- Strong Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with staff to ensure projects undertaken comply with organisational standards and processes and share knowledge and learning with others
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to support a culture of quality management regarding project outcomes, reviews and continual improvement initiatives.
