**The Client**
Our client is a unique government agency which works closely with a range of national and international partners to create connections and gather information that will assue Australia's safety from serious threats. They deliver information-sharing solutions at state, territory and federal levels to ensure that essential information is available to all law enforcement agencies across Australia.

**The Role**
Our client is seeking to engage the services of a Project Support Officer to perform the following duties:

- Provide a range of executive + administrative support including
- records management
- scheduling
- coordination of meeting activities
- secretariat services for governance boards
- Undertake project support activities + contributes to the preparation of reports/briefs program activities/project milestones
- Develop/maintain a working knowledge of project management framework, procedures + tools
- Undertaking routine tasks related to project support including resource management/planning
- Coordinating + participating with procurement/contract management activities
- Reconciling invoices/initiating procurement approvals
- Providing advice to key stakeholders regarding project activities + outcomes
- Coordinating workshops and meetings (booking travel/accommodation for staff + stakeholders)

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in providing executive/administrative support including:

- records management
- scheduling
- coordination of meeting activities
- secretariat services for governance boards
- Demonstrated experience in research/analysis + in contributing to the preparation of reports/briefs
- Highly developed skills to develop communication material for internal/external stakeholders including correspondence, reports + briefs
- Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internally/externally.
- Ability to contribute to team dynamics by providing advice + input to decision making
- Demonstrated ability to undertake routine tasks related to project support including resource management framework, procedures + tools
