Key Duties and Accountabilities
- Lead program governance principles that enable a clear strategic understanding of priorities, progress, key risks and issues, thereby enabling timely and confident decision-making
- Provide program and benefit management advice to the project Directors to support project delivery and implementation.
- Respond and coach project leads to solve emerging issues that arise with the potential to impact project deliverables or program implementation.
- Work with project leads to ensure their reform deliverables are achieved on time and within scope, working collaboratively across the Reform Program.
- Measure program/project performance milestones using appropriate systems, tools, techniques, and methods.
- Maintain an integrated program schedule, monitoring actual progress to date and forecasting
- Report on program stream and overall Reform Program performance to respective program boards
- Ensure the risk management framework is adhered to, lead discussions to minimise reform risks or disruptions and manage and monitor Reform Program risks.
- Facilitate agreement of the benefits realisation plans and track benefits realisation during the life of the program
- Manage and monitor capacity and work with the Reform Delivery Office team to recommend mitigating strategies as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine outcomes across the Reform Program and negotiate outcomes with Program Director to influence the outcomes of the Reform Program.
- Identify and mange risks and governance issues that have the potential to impact Reform Program priorities.
- Proactively consider new concepts that align with the reforms objectives that can achieve realisation.
- Manage and promote effective relationships between internal/external stakeholders to support the project management realisation approach.
- When required, prepare reports, submissions, briefing notes, presentations, and correspondence relation to the reform delivery office.
- Other duties as directed and required.
