Clemenger BBDO Australia is looking for a dynamic and fashion-centric Art Director (Fashion) to join the Myer team in Melbourne and help shape the identity of one of Australia's most iconic brands.
Myer is going through a business-wide transformation, so we are looking for someone who can bring both exceptional execution but also conceptual experience to everything from big brand and seasonal campaigns to sales and tactical events. As an Art Director, you'll create and execute fresh, engaging and visually impactful campaigns across all parts of the Myer business, including fashion, beauty, and kids, and across all channels, including film, out of home, and digital/social. That said, we're looking for someone whose true specialty and love is fashion.
About you
- You flourish in a fast-moving and creative environment and are looking for the opportunity to be a part of transforming an iconic Australian brand.
- You're comfortable with the rigors of a busy retail account, but excited by the idea of bringing fresh, conceptual creativity to everything you work on.
- You have a demonstrated ability to develop a creative campaign from concept through to execution across all channels.
- You are a champion of creativity and have years of experience running fashion shoots and working with photographers, directors, and talent to create compelling imagery.
- You have a keen interest in fashion and have your finger on the pulse with what international and national brands are doing.
- You have high level Adobe Suite skills, particularly InDesign.
- You're fluent in concepting and collaboration, and comfortable presenting your ideas and work to clients.
- You're attentive to detail, in style and execution.
About the team
You will be working within a team exclusively dedicated to Myer, working from the Clemenger BBDO Melbourne office. The creative team includes creative directors, art directors, copywriters, and designers, all of whom work individually and together across all parts of the business.
What you'll be doing
- Working with the Myer team to shape a revitalised, fresh and compelling identity for Myer.
- Providing creative supervision during production - including film and still shoots - to ensure the highest level of creative output.
- Splitting your time between larger seasonal campaigns, tactical events, and BAU communications.
- Partnering with copywriters to create innovative campaign concepts and bringing them to life across all touch points, including film, OOH, eDMs, and digital channels.
