Reporting to the Director Community Services, the Manager Arts and Libraries will lead, manage, and champion the arts, library, creative industries and events portfolios, including the Museum of Australian Photography (MAPh), ensuring high standards of delivery while fostering and delivering innovative new ideas, programs and strategies that support the needs and expectations of the Monash community.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a contemporary, strategic, and people-focused leader with proven experience leading large diverse teams in arts, culture, events, libraries (or similar community development portfolios) within either local government or an aligned sector. You are seen as a champion for libraries and the arts, and you’re passionate about how they make the world a better place. You are adept at forming credible and collaborative relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
