**About the Role**:
Reporting to our Head of Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Relationship Officer will primarily be responsible for developing and maintaining strong and positive relationships with external regulatory and governing bodies across interstate locations. Additionally, this role is required to manage incoming and outgoing reporting, requests, and correspondence between OAC and the regulatory authorities.
**Other Key responsibilities will include**:
**Department Relationship - **Communicating with early childhood regulatory authorities and governing bodies. Compile comprehensive and succinct responses to official correspondence from the Department of Education. Oversee all communication to and from the regulatory authorities and governing bodies relating to quality and compliance.
**OAC Representative** - Responsible for representing OAC at industry forums, meetings with the regulatory authorities, and attending events. Converse and network with regulatory officials and industry representatives to foster positive and trusting relationships.
**Ownership of OAC investigations: Process & Case Management - **Review evidence provided by Campus Directors and Educators for high quality, succinct reporting. Responsible for the writing and submission of high-quality reports and responses to the regulatory authorities, in relation to serious incidents and complaints. Ensure adherence to reporting requirements of external bodies. Initiate, lead and support investigations into serious incidents and complaints.
**Implementing OAC Risk Assurance Framework -** Foster a positive relationship with Campus Directors and educators to encourage an open channel of communication. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team including the Quality Assurance Business Partners, Safeguarding Manager and Incident Response Officer to uphold a holistic framework of risk and quality assurance.
**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Qualification in early childhood, education or similar (desirable)
- A minimum of 7+ years early childcare industry with experience in a senior role
- Previous experience in professional report writing with a focus on handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to network and liaise with industry personnel to develop and maintain strong relationships
- Analytical skills to identify key trends and implement proactive strategy to minimise risk.
- Proactive with a “can do” attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
