Associate, Corporate - Sydney

We are current seeking an Associate to join our highly successful M&A/private equity (PE) team in Australia with a focus on energy and infrastructure transactions. The role will involve working on public and private M&A transactions in Asia Pacific, including takeovers/PIPEs involving Australia listed companies, growth/pre-IPO investments, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts and auction sales, for leading PE funds and corporates.- PQE: ideally 2 -4 PQE- Strong PE/M&A background and experience working with international clients- Common law qualified- Knowledge of Australia-specific rules/codes (e.g. Australia Listing Rules, Takeovers Code etc) would be an advantageFor twelve consecutive years, Clifford Chance earned more top tier rankings in the Greater China region than any other international law firm.
