An exciting job exists for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor in Brisbane.
**Your new company**
Your new organisation is an industry leader, with business segments providing advanced Defence and Commercial technologies across Air, Land, Sea, Space and Cyber Domains. This company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Defence Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Brisbane.

**Your new role**
In your new role as Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving in, storing, and delivering inventory out of the warehouse.
Your new role will see you:

- Staff training/tasking/supervision and performance management
- Procurement of warehouse consumables and related administration of procurement tasks
- Focal point for scheduled and non-scheduled plant servicing
- Responsible for the successful completion of demands within required delivery timeframes
- Corporate governance management, in particular elements required under AS4801: Work Health and Safety Management Systems certification (procedures/risk assessments/SWP’s/SDS register)
- Management of Freight register
- Liaise with freight forwarders regarding ongoing inquiries
- Conduct regular MILIS review (reactivations/reprints/reporting printer errors/investigating issues, utilising downtime procedures, SI320 & review of outstanding requisitions)
- Attend and provide input and advice into ILS operations planning meetings

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role within the Defence Industry. You will also possess:

- MILIS qualifications and experience
- Certificate IV in Warehousing & Distribution
- Team Leader / Supervisory experience
- Effective communication and written skills

Please note Australian Citizenship is essential for this position as you will be required to have a NV1 security clearance or higher.
