Play a key role in rolling out market leading property analytical tools and developing innovative insurance solutions for a range of Aon’s Commercial clients within the Global & Corporate segment.

As we look to continue the investment into our Placement (Specialty Broking) Team, a core business unit within Aon, we are currently seeking a Placement Executive - Global & Corporate (G&C) to join our team.

Within Aon Risk Solutions the Placement Executive will support the business with speciality broking services leveraging insurance markets locally and globally to obtain the best results for our clients. This is achieved through delivering insurance placement solutions crafted specifically to meet the unique needs and risks faced by Aon’s clients across a broad range of industries.

Reporting to the Placement Leader - Property, Northern Region you will be responsible for partnering to deliver property analytics and translating these insights to innovative insurance solutions for a range of clients operating locally and globally.

**What the day will look like**
- Working with the Global & Broking client teams and broking (placement) colleagues to develop and implement strategies to better respond to evolving client need on a range of distinct and diverse client portfolios across all product lines, but with a focus on ISR & Liability.
- Engaging key partners internally to ensure that the G&C and Broking brand is held in the highest esteem whilst achieving best in class outcomes for clients.
- Support colleagues in conducting negotiations with senior underwriters and executives within the carriers.
- Support colleagues to prepare underwriting submissions and the creation of Request for Proposal documents.
- Participating in the direction and Implementation/execution of our Insurer Engagement strategy.
- Supporting the G&C team on hard to place accounts and providing both technical and placement guidance on a case by case basis.

**Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success**
- An understanding of insurance products (ISR focus) and policy wordings/contracts, from either a broking, underwriting or legal background preferred
- Exposure to natural catastrophe models, generalist modelling principles and processes
- A degree of insurance acumen, understanding market participants, processes and broker advisory challenges preferred
- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
- A strong personality that can work in an ever-changing and fluid role
- Ability to interpret data and make recommendations on solutions that are consistent with the goals set by the various business leaders
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate to manage workload with a number of varied stakeholders.
- A proactive and inquisitive spirit to look for potential improvements in processes and problem solve.
- Have the resilience to deal with conflict and achieve resolution when resistance is present
