**About the role at ING**

**Real Estate Finance** is a global platform, operating in Europe, US and APAC, providing financial solutions to leading local and offshore sponsors in the real estate sector. We’re seeking to hire an analyst/associate with 1 - 3 years of experience for our Sydney office.

The key focus of the team is to increase and deepen the strategic dialogue with our client base in Australia and originate high value mandates across ING’s product offering, including structured finance, sustainable finance, debt capital markets and financial markets. Given the size of the team you’ll quickly be given the opportunity to grow and develop by taking ownership of parts of the different transactions in our existing and extensive deal pipeline.

**Seniority**

**Junior** - A role for someone with some basic skills, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically up to 2 years of experience is required.

**Responsibilities**
- Development of Finance Strategy - Recommend improvements to optimize and improve financial performance and development of strategic long-term plans
- Operational and Financial Reporting - Analyze financial data to prepare timely reports to support business decisions
- Financial Modeling - Analyze data to create financial models that support planning and projections

**Strengths**
