My client is a well-respected provider of return-to-work services with a specialist team that focuses on individuals recovering from the psychological impact of trauma in the workplace. Committed to providing high-quality care and support to our clients.
As a Mental Injury Claims Team Leader will be responsible for a team managing end-to-end mental injury claims, liaising with clients and medical professionals, and providing support and guidance to your team on therapeutic practices to assist. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and cases, all while enjoying beautiful and sunny Brisbane.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage, consult and guide a team of claims specialists who manage mental injury claims
- Provide advice to your team on best practices and provide insights into varying treatment and therapeutic support.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure that claims are processed efficiently and effectively.
- Keep updated with changes in legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse information.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- Willingness to relocate to Brisbane.
- Prior leadership skills highly regarded
- Prior exposure to claims management is highly regarded.
- AHPRA registration is highly regarded.
