With a new contract commencing in early 2025, we currently have casual roles available for Catering Assistants to join the Spotless team. Spotless, as a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, will be responsible for preparing and serving culturally diverse, nutritious meals contributing to the overall health and well-being of those in the centres.

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

- Assemble, prepare, and produce food requirements as directed by the Chef Manager/Head Chef.
- Cleaning the food preparation and consumption areas, cooking equipment and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with the HACCP Food Safety Plan, monitoring food safety standards and practices, maintaining hygiene in food preparation areas, and completing all Food Safety Documentation accurately and timely.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is operated following safe work procedures, maintained in a clean and safe condition.

**What you’ll bring**
- Must have Cert II - Kitchen Operations
- Food Safety Certificates
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
- Full understanding of HACCP Food Safety guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
