**About the Role**
- Reporting into the Lead Surface Operations Readiness, you will be supporting the Coal and Copper Asset Projects Operational Readiness Team to safely deliver Operational specific requirements for your assigned projects. This will include collaboration with both Project Functions and Operational Teams, participation in project reviews and risk assessments and development of project Operational Readiness Plans and deliverables.- Responsibilities includes:
- Ensure an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental and community responsibility is maintained through Operational Readiness activities.
- Ensure HSE, Quality and Productivity KPIs are meeting monthly targets.
- Develop operational readiness deliverables and work with stakeholders to gain endorsement to meet key project milestones, to enable effective hand-over
- Identify and assess risks to Operational Readiness execution, and highlight / transfer any project risk to be handed over to operations.
- Collaborate closely with Project, Operational and Functional representatives to ensure the successful integration of projects into their hosting assets.
- Manage change in scope / schedule and communicate impact to Operational Readiness.
**About You**
- To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Engineering, trade-qualification, together with relevant Operational Readiness experience (in Capital Projects) and resource industry experience is beneficial.
- Analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and maintenance requirements including an understanding of Document Management Systems (D2/SW), including Smart Plant for Operations (SPO).
- Great collaboration skills to solve problems across functions and gain support.
- An effective workshop facilitator.
- Ability to work independently and under own initiative.
- Able to interpret technical manuals, IOMs, engineering standards and drawings, create deliverables and communicate effectively with technical specialists, management and operators.
**Location and Roster**
- This role is based in Adelaide on a Mon-Fri roster, offering a quality standard of living without the high costs of most other Australian capital cities. This role will also involve some site travel to Roxby Downs as required.
