SHYU socks is seeking a runner-obsessed, data-driven creative minded marketer who can help write the future of one of the most exciting and disruptive brands in the sport. This opportunity is not a typical marketing manager role; you will be joining a 3-year-old start-up company of fewer than 5 employees, meaning you will automatically assume a position of influence from day 1.
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented performance marketer who wants to think strategically about new runner and retailer acquisition through structured, innovative and creative marketing solutions.
You will be responsible for creating and executing end-to-end marketing campaigns and optimising performance across channels, partnering with the runner (consumer) and retail functions to grow these separate areas of the business via a coherent plan that helps us achieve our goal of getting more SHYUs on feet.
Being a part of a start-up means you must be able to wear multiple hats and be comfortable with being uncomfortable. We are looking for someone who can write the content and the write the strategies that sits behind it. We are looking for someone who can design the ads and design the approach that pushes them to a customer. We are looking for someone who can communicate with our customers and communicate with our current and future partners and affiliates. We are looking for someone who thinks outside the box and can also put socks inside the shipping box when we need them to.
This is a multi-faceted position in a fast-paced, high-energy environment that requires flexibility, forward thinking, a 14-minute 5k PB (just kidding), and sense of humour.
Position is based in our Moorabbin, Melbourne location for 3 days per week, and virtual for the other two. There are also global travel opportunities to World Marathon Majors, including New York, Chicago, Tokyo, Boston, London and Berlinplus wherever else your Marketing Strategy tells us we should go next.
**Key Job Responsibilities**
- Lead product and campaign performance marketing, including relevant audience identification for both our runner and retail functions.
- Bring and test innovative ideas for how to best drive business results through each channel.
- Manage all operational aspects of a campaign including workflow, timelines, asset development and budget tracking.
- Personally execute the strategies using your skills as a marketer, communicator and designer.
- Own the development, roadmap, and continuous improvement of creative content.
- Build and maintain excellent internal and external relationships based on superior verbal and written communications skills.
- Proactively identify new marketing levers to test and improve our various customer offerings.
- Develop and analyse channel KPIs, proactively reporting results and learnings across the organisation.
**Basic Qualifications**
- 4+ years of professional, non-internship marketing experience.
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights.
