Requirements

Reporting to the Head of Wilson, ANZ, you will

  • Define and execute the long-term merchandising strategy for Wilson HG & SG in ANZ.
  • Align global brand direction with local consumer insights.
  • Set financial, margin, and inventory targets in collaboration with FP&A and supply chain.
  • Own assortment planning, pricing, forecasting, and seasonal flow for Racquet Sports HG.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and supply chain to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing merchandising team.
  • Partner with Channel Leads (Ecommerce, Retail, Etail, Wholesale) to optimize assortments and product flow.
  • Leverage data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Drive performance across sales, margin, and inventory KPIs.
  • Lead quarterly and seasonal business reviews with senior leadership.

About you…

  • 6–8 years' experience in merchandising, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in strategic assortment planning and omni-channel environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and P&L ownership.
  • Deep understanding of the ANZ retail landscape; sports/outdoor experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or related discipline.
