**VCAT**

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.

**About the Role**

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will act as the key conduit between VCAT operational teams and the Case Management System (CMS) Program. The role is responsible for providing expert advice and VCAT specific context to support the successful design, configuration and implementation of a new digital CMS. You will be responsible for:

- planning, coordinating and delivering assigned projects that support VCAT's strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with timeframes, budgets and quality standards
- providing expert knowledge of VCAT operational processes and service delivery requirements
- representing user needs and act as a liaison between registry teams, members, and the CMS project team
- identifiying opportunities for business process improvements and system optimisation based on user experiences and operational pain points
- translating complex VCAT workflows into clear requirements
- documenting, analysing and escalating functional gaps, risks or change impacts to stakeholders
- supporting change readiness by contributing to the delveopment of training materials and transition plans for registry

**_There are 2 positions available and both are 12 month fixed term roles_**

- experience providing in-depth knowledge of VCAT processes, workflows and legislative context relevant to case management
- proven critical thinking and ability to analyse complex data
- ability to actively contribute to digital transformation initiatives
- superior customer focus skills to delivery on key business objectives
