**Position Purpose**:

- Middle Office forms part of the Asset & Fund Services division of BNP Paribas Securities Services, supporting a variety of assets classes including Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Cash, Listed Derivatives, OTC and Reconciliations. The team provides support to our client’s start of day positions, matching and monitoring of settlements, cashflows and Middle Office Client reporting. In addition, the team is responsible for oversight of all Middle Office outsourced activities including Data Administration (DA), which is a fully outsourced.
- This role is the local point of contact for our local Market Data vendor relationship and manages the ongoing relationship of the outsourced DA function with the service provider. As the Outsourced Business owner (OBO) this involves monitoring the ongoing risk, performance and daily deliverables of the Security Setup, Security Data Quality and Security Pricing teams. These DA teams play a critical role in supporting our trade-processing teams and sourcing independent security prices use to value securities in HiPortfolio used by various downstream business teams, e.g. Unit Pricing, Financial & Regulatory reporting and Client Reporting etc.
- This role coordinates our Data Administration requirement and assists the local Head of Data Administration in migrating our existing client base onto our global Middle Office operating model, in the ongoing product and sales support of the global strategic operating model and the continuous interrogation and education of our onshore and offshore operational capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting our DA Strategic operating model to remain in alignment with the global strategic operating model which may include remediation of current local processes
- Local outsourced business owner (OBO) for Data Administration function - escalation point, incident management oversight and other OBO oversight monitoring responsibilities.
- Attending monthly DA Hub & Spoke oversight calls and supporting H/O market data who attends global market data steering committee meetings, etc.
- Supporting local market data vendor relationship management, local data requirements - query management, commercials, service reviews, facilitating business requirements
- Coordinating responses for DA to sales pitches (RFIs, RFPs, consultants, DDs etc)

**Specific Qualifications Required**:
**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in financial services, with at least 3 years in Data Administration services, preferably in security static data and dealing with market data vendors
- Degree education - preferable commerce and finance

**Technical skills**
- Knowledge of all security instrument types including fixed income, equities, derivatives, corporate actions and an understanding of trade processing

**Systems knowledge**
- A high level awareness and understanding of the key platforms used across all MO functions
- Strong understanding of HiPortfolio in areas related to Data Administration functions and a broader understanding of associated systems such as TradeFlow, Calypso and Amanda
