**Job Description**:
The primary focus of the role is to assist the business by improving pricing, automation, and risk management. By leveraging our unparalleled trading expertise, you will provide trading and technology-based solutions that utilize our single pricing engine to deliver seamless prices, and UX, across all our products.

You will be responsible for designing and creating reliable trading and technology solutions to automate tasks and solve problems that affect the day-to-day operations of trading at SportCast.

**Qualifications**:
**Role and responsibilities**
- Automating manual trading process to reduce errors and increase efficiency
- Developing new features, tools, services using R, Python, Excel (VBA) & SQL
- Data harvesting, cleaning, and analysis to determine betting trends, patterns, and insights
- Working closely with trading and modelling teams to understand business requirements.
- Creating player models & projections to assist with pricing

**Primary Requisites**
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- At least 2 years of professional experience working years in the betting industry
- Understanding of probabilities and modeling, and market pricing either in a wagering or finance capacity
- Working knowledge of R / Python
- Strong mathematical & numerical skills
- Organised, analytical & detail-oriented personality
- In-depth knowledge of betting markets
- In-depth knowledge of sporting rules and nuances
- Experience with C# programming in Visual Studio (desirable)
- Experience with database structures and SQL (desirable)
- Exposure to machine learning techniques (desirable)
