**About the role**

As a Maintenance Fitter at QuarryQuip Solutions, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of plant, equipment and machinery at one of our customers facilities in Laverton North. This full-time position is key to ensuring our customers operation run smoothly and reliably.

**What you'll be doing**
- Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial fixed plant, machinery and equipment
- Providing breakdown support to operations to ensure all plant & equipment is running when required.
- Performing plant & equipment inspections and liaising with management to prioritize maintenance & repair work.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance strategies
- Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities
- Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

**What we're looking for**
- Relevant trade qualification Certificate III in Engineering, Mechanical Trade or a similar discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial or mining environment
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as mechanical diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
