Due to exciting growth in the business, we are looking for a mature and reliable **Storeperson **to join our high performing warehouse team based in **Canberra.** This is a casual Monday to Friday role, working up to 38 full-time hours per week, assisting us with pick packing for one of our major clients.

**This is an Indigenous
- identified position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (pursuant to Section 14 (d) of the Anti-discrimination act)**

The purpose of this role is to provide functional support across key activities in receive, pick, pack and dispatch goods against the business and supplier documentation, in accordance with company policy and procedure, and complete other warehouse related duties as required.

**Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- Picking, packing and despatch of customer orders (freight management)
- Receiving, labelling and storing of incoming goods
- Conducting sorting, loading and unloading of vehicles
- Ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and displayed
- Assisting on the trade store counter and general housekeeping duties

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment desirable
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be versatile with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Forklift licence and experience highly regarded
- Available between the hours of 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toowoomba QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
