We are an Indigenous owned Recruitment Agency located in Canberra that provides Contract workers to the Australian Federal Government.

**About the Role**:
As an Indigenous Identified Cultural Engagement Officer, you will play a vital role in promoting Indigenous culture and facilitating community engagement initiatives. Your responsibilities may include:

- Collaborate with Indigenous communities to develop cultural programs and initiatives.
- Facilitate cultural awareness training and workshops for government staff and stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and initiatives to promote Indigenous cultural preservation and celebration.
- Engage with Indigenous Elders and community leaders to ensure their voices are heard and respected.
- Provide advice and guidance on Indigenous cultural protocols and practices to internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
- A deep understanding and appreciation of Indigenous culture and traditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Indigenous communities.
- Knowledge of government policies and programs related to Indigenous affairs.
- A commitment to reconciliation and promoting Indigenous voices and perspectives.
- Experience in community engagement or cultural development roles preferred.
