We are seeking an experienced Logistics Officer to join one of our clients for an immediate start.

**The Role**

Key responsibilities include:

- Provide high quality inventory and procurement services to organisations operational customers based across a geographically dispersed area
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using computerized systems
- Timely and accurate picking, packing and delivery (arranged or performed) of goods to business partners
- Conduct of accurate stocktaking of stores, as requested, without negative impact to business partner operations
- Purchasing and salvage activities administered efficiently and correctly
- Stocktaking to be accurate and to capture all items held on stock and or deficient
- Signing off on supplier orders and invoices, ensuring that they match on agreed pricing
- Following up purchase orders to ensure they will be and are delivered

**Experience Required**
- Technical or administrative qualifications
- Current drivers licence - Class C and Current high-risk fork lift licence
- Understanding of procurement and inventory management procedures
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience in inventory and store operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
