The Opportunity
The Campus Logistics Officer supports effective asset, facilities, and logistics management across designated campuses, reporting to the Campus Logistics Cluster Lead. Operating with limited supervision, the role applies practical skills and fosters friendly, collaborative interactions.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated practical experience in maintaining continuity of operations by balancing supply and demand in complex environments.
- Experience in inventory management, purchasing, modern warehousing (e.g. receipts, picking, issue routines), and salvage activities.
- Proven ability to deliver quality client service in support of campus operational functions (e.g. handyperson maintenance, fleet administration).
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, with experience in data entry and retrieval.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, including risk identification, assessment, control, and mitigation evaluation.
- Current Australian driver's licence and sound knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and community.
- Possession of appropriate high-risk work licences (e.g. Elevated Work Platforms, Crane, Hoisting, Dogging, Rigging) and experience in managing state-wide operations and projects are highly desirable.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
