Customer Service Officer

A rare opportunity to join an industry leading food manufacturer based in Melbourne's northern suburbs. This dynamic role is pivotal to the organisation, handling logistics, planning and production responsibilities to ensure both external and internal stakeholders are duly satisfied. The successful applicant will be a crucial part of a small, tight-knit customer service team, and be responsible for handling a wide range of internal and external customer order & dispatch requirements.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Monitoring stock movements and responding to any queries regarding stock movements and deliveries
- Processing of sales orders & action enquires received by internal & external customers
- Handling of small amount of export orders, custom clearances and associated documentation (NZ)
- Shipment & dispatch planning inclusive of 3PL / freight requirements
- Constant liaison with sales, production and demand teams to provide customers with up to date and accurate information
- Assist Customer Service Manager with all day-to-day CS requirements to ensure the highest level of service is consistently delivered to all internal / external stakeholders
**To be successful for this role, you will posses**:
- Food/FMCG experience essential
- Experience in a manufacturing environment advantageous
- Exceptional communication and administrative skills
- Highly organised - the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Proactive, can-do attitude - inquisitive, adaptive and bubbly
- High level understanding/experience in warehouse management/inbound or outbound freight movement
- Critical attention to detail
