The Company
Swick Mining Services is Australia’s largest Underground Diamond Drilling contractor with the most innovative and reliable rigs in the industry.
Due to continued company expansion, Swick are searching for a suitably experienced Parts Interpreter to provide support to our local and site-based Maintenance teams in all parts related matters.

The Role

**Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Provide support in all part related matters including non-vendor quoting, and sourcing back up suppliers where required
- Emergency parts deployment on short notice to various regions and sites
- Liaising with transport companies & vendors to track orders while keeping site personnel updated on any changes
- Working closely with the maintenance leadership team to ensure spare parts documentation and processes are followed
- Data entry and parts procurement
- Work with maintenance scheduler to provide preventative maintenance parts as required for scheduled services
- Assisting maintenance leadership team in maintaining critical parts with min/max stock levels
- Assist projects team in new product roll out plans
- Some remote work required to assist maintenance staff with stocktakes and initial set ups
- Assist supply department with non-conforming and poor-quality parts reports where required
- Navigate OEM parts manuals and diagrams to locate light vehicle and mobile plant mechanical parts

Experience and Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level data entry skills
- Extensive understanding of automotive components and equipment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Exposure to Microsoft Navision preferred
- Effective time management

**Qualifications**:

- Mechanical trade qualification preferred
- Current C Class Driver License
