**About the role**

We have a new leadership opportunity for a Manager Portfolio Delivery to join our Strategic Delivery and Enablement division.

You will be responsible for providing engaging leadership and oversight, supporting your team to deliver projects within your respective portfolios, managing large-scale change, and the strategies for project delivery that supports the strategic needs of the RACQ business. You will play a key role in supporting our Head of Portfolio Delivery, whilst delivering in line with our framework for implementing portfolio projects

As our new Manager Portfolio Delivery, you will work with Project Managers to establish priorities, manage dependencies, manage budgets and form interfaces with other Departments to ensure knowledge and/or insights are shared. In this people leadership role, you will guide/motivate and coach our Project Managers, Business Analysts and Project Co-ordinators to provide support around delivery of projects using standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Management to our framework for implementing portfolio projects, including taking responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of all projects within the relevant portfolio segment as directed by the Head of Portfolio Delivery.
- Creating a community of practice, coaching and developing team members to ensure the best outcomes for our members and RACQ as a whole
- Shape and champion a network of internal and external contacts to promote and achieve the Group’s portfolio goals and priorities to staff at all levels of the business operation
- Ensure that projects are assessed and early planning to undertake viability and approach, working as a bench resource for projects prior to resources being committed.
- Lead and motivate direct and indirect reports to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

**About You**
- 5-7 years’ experience across Portfolio or complex Program and Project Management with demonstrated experience leading a team to facilitate the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects
- Strong knowledge of contemporary Project Management frameworks and methodologies/best practice and the ability to provide leadership on project delivery excellence
- Demonstrated high level portfolio, project skills, with a commitment to rigorous outcome evaluation and knowledge management to inform organisational learning and future strategic directions
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven track record in business improvement and cost saving results
- Ability to successfully deliver change in a complex fast-moving environment
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to use discretion and judgement in a complex business environment
- Demonstrated ability in preparing and presenting comprehensive reports including options papers, business cases and recommendations analysis.
- Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment.
- Sound financial management skills
- Experience working in financial services industries desirable, especially Insurance.
