Our client is a highly regarded specialist located at St Vincent's clinic.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Medical Receptionist to assist a specialist with the smooth and efficient running of all day to day operations of a busy practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Welcome and greeting patients both in person and over the phone
- Handling all enquiries in a courteous, prompt and professional manner
- Managing patient appointments
- Performing recall and reminder call duties where necessary for scheduled appointments and results
- Manage and update patient files
- Update and monitor patient referrals
- Coordination of internal and external appointments for the Specialist including meetings, official commitments and other professional activities
- General administration and typing of reports
- Ordering office supplies
- Process patient accounts

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience working in a Medical setting
- Experience utilising medical software, Genie would be an advantage
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Professional, caring and friendly attitude
