**Reporting to the Senior Plant Controller for Cook Australia, this role is responsible for the maintenance and processing of the fortnightly and monthly payroll systems.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Process end-to-end fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
- Update and maintain Sage Micropay and ESS systems.
- Liaise with Finance, Human Resources and Workplace Health and Safety teams.
- Prepare and provide payroll information to government and regulatory bodies when requested.
- Refer to payroll legislation.
- Maintain files and records required for the generation of the fortnightly and monthly payroll.
- Answer payroll enquiries from employees, supervisors, and management as required.
- Prepare documentation as it relates to superannuation and Workcover.
- Post payroll data into financial systems.
- Process payroll taxes.
- Assist with other finance related tasks where required.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a high-volume end-to end payroll environment essential.
- Confidence with working with Sage Micropay essential.
- Previous experience with Dayforce desirable.
- Ability to analyse data essential.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Power Point) essential.
- Ability to meet deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, whilst ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Highly organised with a focus on attention to detail.
- Ability to be confidential as handling private information.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
