**About the Role**:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced **Supervisor** to oversee the daily operations of the **marhaba** Lounge at Melbourne Airport.

This role will ensure the delivery of premium customer service and positive guest interactions while managing a dedicated team to meet operational goals and uphold the lounge’s high standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, motivate and develop the team to ensure high standards of customer service, discipline and grooming
- Manage daily lounge operations including addressing any operational issues and ensuring smooth service delivery
- Oversee staff rostering, food and beverage ordering and resource deployment during peak hours
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards and health and safety guidelines
- Report any operational irregularities and provide solutions to improve service and efficiency
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and key stakeholders to maintain a positive work environment

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a café, high-end restaurant or hotel
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage both permanent and casual staff
- Strong customer service, food handling, and cash management skills
- Experience in rostering, ordering supplies, and managing lounge operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail
- RSA certificate and a working understanding of food safety standards
- Ability to pass a security check to obtain an ASIC pass
- Must be an Australian Resident or Citizen
- Must be flexible - shifts will vary with some starting as early as 05:00 and finishing at 01:00 across 7 days per week
