**Position Overview**

**The Parts Sales Interpreter is to act as the principal point of contact with MCS end customers and internal MCS teams (Service, Sales) who are requiring Spare parts and Attachments for Manitou’s complete range of products. The position is permanent, Full time. A list of specific job responsibilities are listed below.**

**Organization**

**The position reports to the Manitou Center Services & Solutions Operations Manager and includes active day to day collaborations with the Sales Team and the Services & Solutions Operations’s team.**

**Critical Responsibilities**
- **Develop Spare Parts & Attachments Sales**
- **Spare Parts & Attachments Interpreting**
- **Manage purchasing & Sourcing**
- **Customer Relationship & Satisfaction**
- **Cross Functional Support**

**Main responsibilities**:

- **Manage End-Customers and internal (Sales, Workshop, Field Service) inquiries by responding efficiently to front counter, phone and internet inquiries**
- **Interpret parts queries from a computer based parts programme to supply the appropriate parts**
- **Processing internal and end-customers orders**
- **Invoicing parts orders**
- **Follow up customers backorders**
- **Proactively communicate with customers and service team regarding their order status, enquiries or any issues.**
- **Sourcing and ordering spare parts both local and overseas.**
- **Assist in the parts stock reordering process for local and overseas suppliers.**
- **Follow up any parts short shipped with suppliers local and overseas**
- **Promote Spare Parts & Attachments**
- **Build Customer relationships**
- **Participate occasionally in receipting of spare parts purchases from local and overseas suppliers, picking, packing and despatching parts orders if required**
- **Participate in cyclic and annual stocktakes**
- **Ad Hoc duties as required**

**Transversal projects and innovation**
- **Where required, participate on transversal projects to support the development of Manitou activity**
- **Propose and Innovate on targeted actions to bring more added value to our customers**

- **Good math ability to compute rates, ratios, and percent and to develop and interpret graphs.**
- **Languages: English**

**Experience**:

- **Work experience as a parts interpreter in the machinery industry an advantage**
- **Work experience in technical maintenance and / or in technical problem solving**
- **Current Forklift license desirable**
- **Current driver's license an advantage**
