**The Opportunity**:
Join our large and dynamic Slade Pharmacy group in the Epworth Hospital Richmond on a permanent full-time basis. Oversee and lead a team responsible for the ordering, receipting, storage and dispatching of stock for the pharmacy and hospital.

Permanent full-time role to work 38 hours per week at Slade based inside the Epworth Hospital in Richmond. Your key responsibilities include:

- Coordinate workflow and assist in the management of a team in maintaining the store’s function
- Ensure medication orders are placed daily and within required timeframes for cut off and timely delivery to the pharmacy for patient treatment
- Provide strategic input into the logístical changes required to support ongoing business developments
- Order, receive, unpack and check stock and invoices and report any discrepancies or non-deliveries
- Ensure all customer orders are received, processed and packed correctly within timeframe
- Rotate and check expiry dates of stock systematically
- Provide training and induction to new staff and re-training of existing staff
- Assist with onboarding new staff in the team
- This is a physical role that requires you to manually lift objects, stand, bend and squat. You will be required to lift heavy boxes of up to 20 kg in weight on and off trolleys, a pallet riser and shelving in our loading dock._

**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking a people focused individual, with effective communication skills and the ability to supervise and lead a team. You will have high attention to detail and a positive customer service attitude. Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to sudden changes in work requirements is key.

**Mandatory requirements**:

- Previous experience in pharmacy and handling/managing stock
- Previous experience in the management of staff (desirable)
- Be driven by the desire to have a positive impact on another person’s life
- Have strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills
- Embrace change and commit to learning
- Have a positive “can-do” attitude
